Hillary Clinton appears to be wearing eyeglasses designed to treat double vision. The secretary of state – who recently was hospitalized after a concussion from a fall and blood clot near her brain – appeared before the Senate this week wearing something called a Fresnel prism on her glasses.
The device is an adhesive panel placed on eyeglass lenses to treat double vision. Clinton’s spokesperson confirmed that she is wearing the glasses as a result of the concussion she suffered, but he did not elaborate.

“If she’s wearing a Fresnel prism, then she has double vision without it,” Dr. Mark Fromer told the New York Daily News.
