Never Fear Cancer Again

"Cancer is an out-of-control epidemic, and conventional treatments don't work," says Raymond Francis, an MIT-trained scientist and chairman of The Project to End Disease. The reason that the "war on cancer" is a failure is that conventional treatments only treat the symptoms and side effects of cancer and not the biological process that causes it in the first place, Francis tells Newsmax Health. He says you can prevent cancer from ever developing in your body to begin with, and he maintains that even if you already have it, you can turn it off � regardless of the type you have � and regain your health.

Francis began his quest to end disease when he himself was gravely ill. "My death was a medical certainty," he tells Health Radar, "and I had to take advantage of my knowledge of biochemistry to save my own life." His interest in curing cancer was spurred on a few years later when his brother was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given six months to live. With Francis' help, he lived 20 years.

Cancer isn't something that can be cut out, burned out, or poisoned, says Francis, author of "Never Fear Cancer Again: How to Prevent and Reverse Cancer."

Instead, cancer is a biological process that affects the entire body. One of the problems with traditional treatments is that doctors see the tumor as the problem. "Wrong," says Francis. "The tumor is a side effect. Cancer is a biological process, and the process produces the tumor.

"If you remove the tumor and the process is still operating, a new tumor will be produced. This is why conventional cancer treatments don't work. They attack the symptoms and side effects but not the cause, which is a biological process."

As a result, the number of people diagnosed with cancer continues to rise. "More people have cancer than ever before, and more people are dying," he says. "If you look at the statistics very carefully, you'll find the death rate is no different today than in 1950."
