Question: My doctor put me on cholesterol medication, but I don't want to be on it. What can I do?

Dr. Hibberd's Answer:

Stop it! What are you using it for? If I told you to jump in a lake... would you? The age of patient education is here. Ask your doctor to describe this medication he has selected for you. Understand the risks and benefits. Then ask me any further questions you might have, and I will be happy to help you. None of this victim stuff, please. Take responsibility for your health now!
