Question: I have serious acidity sweat problems. I cannot wear any colored clothes because the sweat bleaches out colors.

Dr. Hibberd's Answer: I'm sure you have had yourself checked for underlying disorders associated with excessive sweating (such as thyroid , diabetes and other endocrine disorders, and infectious/inflammatory conditions), and I assume you are otherwise healthy. Try using a soap that is antibacterial as well as antiperspirant, such as Safeguard, or Mitchum antiperspirant products.

Aside from potent topical astringents, with or without prescription, you may be an excellent candidate to consider Botox treatment to your underarms. Local Botox application via multiple site injections under both your armpits, properly mapped out by an experienced professional will be very effective. Though Botox may solve your worries for four to six months, it will be at some expense, though with your clothing damage, it may be just what the doctor ordered! Let me know how you do.
