Question: I had a sarcoma tumor on the large vein that carries blood to the heart (the inferior vena cava), and it was successfully removed. The bad news is that the sarcoma has metastasized to the lungs. Are there supplements that will help?

Dr. Blaylock's Answer:

Sarcomas are tumors that are highly resistant to conventional treatments. There is evidence that a number of alternative treatments may help contain the cancer. I would recommend that you get a copy of my book on the subject, “Natural Strategies for Cancer Patients,” by going to my website www.blaylockwellnesscenter.com.

Some of the most impressive supplements to inhibit cancer growth and invasion include green tea extract, curcumin, quercetin, ellagic acid, modified citrus pectin, and vitamin D-3 (in higher doses — 5,000 to 10,000 IU a day). The curcumin (500 mg) and quercetin (500 mg) are absorbed better if they are mixed with a tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil and taken four times a day with food.
