Question: What is your opinion on using those "green" bags to keep vegetables fresh for extended periods by absorbing various gases?
Dr. Blaylock's Answer:
I know of no studies showing the effectiveness of these "green" bags, but there are other ways to preserve your vegetables. For example, use vacuum sealing or sprinkle them with resveratrol, which has a powerful protective effect. You can also sprinkle resveratrol over the cut surface of fruits to prevent the browning reaction (oxidation).
