Rosie O'Donnell, comedian and former co-host of "The View," posted a before-and-after selfie of her weight loss on Twitter Thursday, revealing her new, slimmer self.
The side-by-side selfies show O'Donnell's face before her vertical gastric sleeve surgery, when she weighed 230 pounds, and then a recent photo of her weighing 190 pounds. O'Donnell underwent the procedure, which removes part of the stomach, in July of last year following a heart attack, reported Us Weekly

O'Donnell revealed her surgery in February of this year at the annual Go Red For Women Luncheon, sponsored by the American Heart Association.
"I did what many woman do, and I did not take care of myself. And that's why I'm here, to try to get women to know you're worth it, take care of yourself and know the symptoms," said O'Donnell, a keynote speaker at the event.
The 51-year-old said her wakeup call was her heart attack in 2012, which she revealed to the public in the form of a poem at Rosie.com
Famous friend and fellow comedian Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who plays "Mitchell" on ABC's "Modern Family," was among many who responded to Rosie's before-and-after selfie with congratulations and positivity.
