Question: What would cause my eyes to go blurry, then clear up? I also can’t stand very bright sunlight.
Dr. Hibberd's Answer:
Blurred vision under glare often suggests a disorder of a lens within your eye and may be a symptom of cataracts. Elevated blood glucose levels and fluctuations of blood glucose levels in diabetics can also cause blurred vision.
I recommend you have your eyes and eye pressures examined for glaucoma and other local causes of blurred vision. Once you have been examined for local causes and a resolution isn't clearly expected, then see your doctor for evaluation of other causes for episodic blurry vision.
By the way, some medications may exacerbate eye problems, so be sure to mention all the meds you take when you are evaluated professionally.
