Question: I am a 42-year-old woman who has been diagnosed with breast cancer and have just completed six months of chemotherapy. What can I do to detox my body from these drugs? What can I do during and after radiation to help maintain my health?

Dr. Blaylock's Answer:

Chemotherapy and radiation can do considerable damage to organs and surrounding tissues. Not only can certain natural compounds protect these tissues, they greatly enhance the effectiveness of these treatments.

The most effective have been curcumin (taken with extra virgin olive oil), quercetin chalcone, ellagic acid, EGCG, resveratrol, and DHA. Certain immune stimulants, such as beta 1,3/1,6-glucan, are also helpful.
